With over fifty composers and performers enrolled each summer, soundSCAPE provides a special experience for amateurs and young professionals that emphasizes collaboration and the artistic process. Launched single-handedly by pianist Nathanael May, the festival has grown substantially and has undergone changes to its organizational structure. This case examines some of the major institutional<br \/>\nhurdles for the soundSCAPE festival, including its relocations, incorporation, and changes in leadership.
